Use: The OG
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice (washed)
- 8 cups water
- 1 pack beech mushrooms
- ½ tbsp The OG MSG Seasoning
- Option toppings: green onion, tofu, greens, chicken, or fish
Mushroom Sauce Ingredients:
- ½ tbsp miso paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
- ½ tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tbsp The OG MSG Seasoning
Instructions:
- Bring rice to a boil, then lower to a simmer for 45 minutes (or until desired jook consistency)
- On medium heat, saute mushrooms until golden brown
- Pour in sauce and stir for about 2 minutes
- Serve jook and top with mushrooms and any additional toppings
